Victoria Toldson was born February 9, 1933, to Earnestine Williams and Arthur Thomas, who preceded her in death. She was the only child born to this union. Victoria received her education at Newellton High School in Newellton, Louisiana.

Victoria met and fell in love with Emmit Toldson, Jr. The couple united in Holy Matrimony on January 20, 1951. They remained devoted to each other for fifty-five years. To this union, three children were born, Wanda, Kandell and Charna. Victoria was a loving wife and a great mother.

In the early ‘50s, the family moved to Compton, California, where Victoria was a remarkable housewife and mother, before starting a career as a Teacher’s Aide with the Compton Unified School District for many years.

After several years, Victoria and Emmit opened their own successful businesses, Reliable Income Tax Service and E. T. Realty. Victoria received a number of awards and certificates working alongside her husband, in outstanding ownership and service awards.

Victoria was very kind and always conducted herself in a very professional manner. She enjoyed serving the community and loved working with people. She was a very giving person and would do whatever she could to help others.

In 2003, Victoria became a faithful member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. James T. Toldson.

Victoria Toldson passed away on July 2, 2013. Her son, Kandell and husband, Emmit preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Wanda Wallace (Bruce Sr.) and Charna Toldson; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Toldson; grandchildren, Bruce Jr., Shantuana, Kiyomi, La Juan; nine great grandchildren along with a host of other loving family and dear friends
