Life Reflections
On September 17, 1974, in Los Angeles, California, two beautiful twin girls, TaNisha and LaNisha, were born to the proud parents of James & Beadie Burnley. TaNisha was the older twin and the third child born to this union.
TaNisha parents made sure that she was introduced to Christ at an early age. She along with the entire family attended Greater Holy Light Missionary Baptist Church, where the late Rev. Charles Brown was pastor. This is where TaNisha accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. Because of her love for singing, she later joined the choir and was also an active member of the Youth Department.
TaNisha received her early childhood education at LaSalle Elementary, Horace Mann Middle School, and later graduated from Reseda High School.
On February 15, 1996, TaNisha gave birth to a handsome baby boy, Derrion M. Ludgood. TaNisha later reunited with her Junior High School sweetheart, David L. Grady and the two were united in Holy Matrimony on April 3, 1999. To this union, a beautiful baby girl, Ka`Nya D. Grady, was born on November 16, 2000.
Over the span of her lifetime, TaNisha worked in various occupations. Her last
occupation was that of a Supervisor for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). TaNisha was a very outgoing and fun loving person. She had a great love for her family, especially her husband and children.
After a long period of illness, on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, the Lord in his infinite wisdom and loving grace called our beloved TaNisha home to be with him. TaNisha was preceded in death by her father, James Henry Burnley.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Beadie W. Burnley; her husband

Grady; children, Derrion Ludgood and Ka`Nya Grady, all of Los Angeles, CA; brother, Bryan Mothershed of Lancaster, CA; sister Michelle Reese of Bellflower, CA; her twin sister LaNisha Cason of Inglewood, CA; grandmother, Lela Williams and grandfather, Henry Williams, both of Los Angeles, CA; aunts, Bernadette Jemison (husband, Odis Jemison), Judy Brown (husband, Hermie Brown) of Ohio, Joann Gilmore, Lillie Franklin (husband, John Paul Franklin); uncles, LD Ponds (wife, Linda Ponds), Steve Ponds of Utah, Harold Burnley and Bernice Burnley of Los Angeles, Ida Perry of Michigan, Colleen Burnley of Michigan, Dolleen Burnley of Michigan, and Velma Fleming (husband, Adell) of Michigan; Godmother Robbie Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and many, many friends.
