Life Reflections

On November 25, 1938, in Kansas City, Kansas, Sherman Alexander Ezell and Kansada Joyce Clark welcomed their only child, a beautiful baby girl into the world. They named the child Constance Joyce Ezell, who was affectionately called Connie by family and close friends. Connie attending Catholic School and received her Catholic confirmation at the age of 12. She graduated from Ward High School.

Connie met and married Vincent A. Orme Jr. This marriage union of 20 years was blessed with four children: Vicki Lavon, Tina Louise, Vincent A. III, and Cansada Joyce Orme. A loving mother, who took great pride in her family, worked at Macy’s Department Store as a Sales Associate. She was a dedicated employee of 20 years. Connie was a social butterfly and enjoyed spending time with her friends at Casa Carlos.

Connie also enjoyed cooking and painting - being very artistic; and let us not forget one of her all-time favorite thing to do… SHOPPING, which was only second to being surrounded by her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Connie was a loving, sweet woman, who loved giving hugs and kisses to family and friends alike.

On July 26, 2013, our beautiful mother, grandmother, and friend Constance Orme made her transition in her Los Angeles home. She joins her father Sherman Alexander Ezell; mother Kansada Joyce Clark; aunt Odessa Clark; cousin/sister Bonnie Logan; and her son Jackie Flowers.

Connie leaves a legacy of love and precious memories with her children: Vicki L. Orme, Tina L. Orme, Vincent A. Orme III, Cansada J. Orme; grandchildren: Yzeel A.
