Brice Douglas Dailey

“The life given to us by nature is short;
But the memory of a well spent life is eternal.”

Brice Douglas Dailey was the son of the late Ruthie and Henry Dailey of Los Angeles, California. He was born on September 5, 1961, in Los Angeles. He departed this life on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 2:30 am after a persistent illness at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, California.

Brice was baptized at First AME Church of Los Angeles, where he served throughout his formative years. He graduated from Newbury Park High School, Newbury Park, California. Brice excelled academically and athletically there.

He attended the University of Southern California. At USC, he was initiated into the Nu Upsilom chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Brice met and married DeBora Williams on June 13, 2003. Although Brice’s life here on earth was short; his memory will continue to live on in those who loved him.

Those that preceded him in death were his parents, Ruthie and Henry Dailey; his grandparents, Montana and John McNealy and Olivia Andrews. Brice is survived by his loving wife, DeBora (Kim) Dailey, his stepdaughter Rhonda Williams, his grandson, Lyon Ewing. His stepmother Annie Dailey, sister Drametta Dailey-Drake and cousin Mrs. Shirley Miller Mason of Memphis, TN. A host of relatives from the Wells and Miller families. Godson Antaeus Stewart. “Sisters” Kozet Boyd and Jacy Stewart, “Brother” Philip Johnson. There are many friends and Phi Beta Sigma fraternity brothers that will miss him and cherish the time that they spent with him in this life.
